Hi! I'm a 24-year-old Chinese boy currently pursuing PhD degree in Biology. I am a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese (and some dialects in Chinese, but not proficient), so I’d be more than happy to help you with anything in these 2 languages if you are interested.
As for me, I am basic with English (TOEFL 90), I can only handle academic discussions in my familiar topics, and I really struggle with daily English and casual conversations. I’m feeling a bit anxious and would love to practice natural, everyday expressions to feel more confident.
Beyond language, I’m into computer science (ML and AI), and my hobbies are playing games, EDM music, snooker, and cooking. If you share any of these hobbies or just want to exchange languages, let's chat and help each other grow! Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Hello there! I’m Paulo Cheang (or Harry). I’m currently living in Portugal, finishing up my internship at a small firm. I think I'm drawn to cozy, small places because I grew up in Macao—a small city right next to Hong Kong (which might give you a better idea of where I'm from!). I am a Christian, and I absolutely love playing music and various instruments. Swimming is another big hobby of mine, along with simply walking around and exploring the city. Feel free to write to me!

Hi,
I’m originally from Hong Kong, but I moved to Canada when I was young, so my Cantonese has gotten pretty rusty from not using it much. Now I’m hoping to learn Mandarin so I can communicate better with the Chinese people in my area.
Some of my hobbies include cooking, watching shows, and going for walks around my neighborhood. I’ve also found that one of the best ways for me to practice languages is by gaming online with a language partner. If you’re into gaming too, that’s great — if not, I’m sure we’ll find another fun way to practice and learn together.
Looking forward to practicing Mandarin and English with you!

Hi! I'm a university student in Australia studying geography and sociology. My native language Cantonese, and I grew up with Mandarin as well, though I am most technically proficient with English nowadays. I have studied Italian in secondary school, and am looking to start learning Czech just for fun. I would also like to brush up on my Mandarin. I love language and culture very much, and I explore that a lot through reading, so becoming more proficient in other languages is my way of accessing more literature and media to expand my worldview. Would love to chat!!
Ciao! Grazie! Mi piacerebbe molto chiacchierare!!

Hi everyone, I am CW. I grew up and studied in Auckland and have been working here for over 10 years.
I want to improve my fluency in Mandarin to communicate better when I visit China. I believe the best way to learn is to talk and interact in person—the more practice we have, the more fluent we'll be!
I am a native Cantonese speaker and can help you converse in either Cantonese or English. Ideally, I am looking to meet up in East Auckland, but the CBD is also a possibility.
